Highlights

• Madhya Pradesh ranks #10 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2023.
• A Total of 39 well-performing projects qualified for Deeper Study, out of which 2 were highly impactful and 12 were impactful projects.
• State performed very well in 16 categories.

  2. Has shown maximum improvement in the General Administration, Municipal Governance, e-Governance, Agriculture, Health and District Administration categories.
  3. Consistent in performance in the Cooperation and Horticulture categories.
  4. Participating first time in Urban Development and Environment categories and entered in the top 10 nationally.
  5. Recovers in Education and Finance categories.
• Municipal Governance, Agriculture and Cooperation submit a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects are qualified as highly impactful and impactful projects.
• Key achievements
  1. Madhya Pradesh bags 39 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2023.
  2. Almost half of these are in Agriculture, Cooperation and Municipal Governance.
  3. Three SKOCH Orders-of-Merit are in the District Governance, Agriculture, Cooperation, Health and Urban Development categories nationally.
  4. Two SKOCH Orders-of-Merit are in the Ease of Doing Business, Environment, Tourism and  General Administration categories.
  5. The state won 14 awards – two in GOLD and twelve in the SILVER category.
