• Telangana ranks #14 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2023.
• A Total of 37 well-performing projects qualified for Deeper Study, out of which 4 were impactful projects.
• State performed very well in 12 categories.

  2. Has shown maximum improvement in the Police & Safety category nationally.
  3. Consistent in performance in the Power & Energy category.
  4. Participating for the first time in the Disaster Management, Tourism and Cooperation categories and entered in the top 10 nationally.
  5. Recovers in Education and Labour categories.
• District Governance and Police & Safety submit a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects are qualified as impactful projects.
• Key achievements
  1. Telangana bags 37 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2023.
  2. Almost half of these are in the Police & Safety and District Governance categories.
  3. Four SKOCH Orders-of-Merit were in the Power & Energy category nationally.
  4. Telangana won 3 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the Skill Development category.
  5. The state won 11 awards – two in GOLD and two in the SILVER category.
