Highlights

• Rajasthan ranks #12 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2023.
• A Total of 33 well-performing projects qualified for Deeper Study, out of which 2 were highly impactful and 9 were impactful projects.
• State performed very well in 12 categories.
  1. Tops in the Health and e-Governance categories nationally.
  2. Has shown maximum improvement in the Rural Development category nationally.
  3. Consistent in performance in the General Administration and Power & Energy categories.
  4. Participating for the first time in the Horticulture category and entered in the top 10 nationally.
  5. Recovers in District Governance and Municipal Governance categories.
• District Governance, Health and Rural Development submit a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects are qualified as highly impactful and impactful projects.
• Key achievements
  1. Rajasthan bags 33 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2023.
  2. Almost half of these are in the Health, Rural Development and District Governance categories.
  3. Two SKOCH Orders-of-Merit were in the General Administration and Police & Safety categories nationally.
  4. The state won 11 awards – two in GOLD and nine in the SILVER category.

• Most states have a large number of projects at the District and Municipal levels.
• Most states tend to retain or improve their annual ranks.
• Police and Power & Energy tend to submit a larger number of projects.
