• Rajasthan ranks #3 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2022.
• Total of 78 well-performing projects qualified for SKOCH Order-of-Merit, out of which 8 were highly impactful and 12 were impactful projects.
• State performed very well in 23 categories.
  1. Topped in Health, Social Justice & Social Security and Housing categories nationally.
  2. Has shown maximum improvement in e-Governance and Water.
  3. Consistent performance in the Transport category
  4. Participating first time in Disaster Management, Ease of Doing Business, Infrastructure, Police & Safety, Tourism & Culture, Cooperation, Minority Affairs, Revenue, Sports & Youth and Animal Husbandry & Fisheries and entered in the top 10 nationally.
  5. Recovered in Agriculture, Education, General Administration, Power & Energy, Skill Development, Urban Development and Women & Child Development.
• E-governance, Social Justice & Security and Police & Safety have submitted a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects were qualified as highly impactful and impactful projects.
• Key achievements
  1. Rajasthan bagged 78 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2022.
  2. More than half of these are in Education, e-Governance, General Administration, Police & Safety, Skill Development and Social Justice & Security.
  3. Three SKOCH Orders-of-Merit were Agriculture, Minority Affairs, Revenue and Urban Development each.
  4. The state won five SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the Health category.
  5. The state won 20 awards – eight in GOLD and twelve in SILVER category.

• The state was ranked #2 in Cooperation, Ease of Doing Business, Infrastructure and Tourism & Culture. #3 in Minority Affairs, #4 in Revenue, Disaster Management, Sports & Youth and Animal Husbandry & Fisheries and #7 in Police & Safety.

• Compared to its score and rank in 2021, Rajasthan has shown a significant improvement in score and improved its rank to reach #3 in 2022 from #15 in 2021.

• 100+ well-performing projects required to become #1 in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2023.
• Alternatively, a higher number of Platinum and Gold performances can improve the ranking
• Incremental improvements in previously evaluated/awarded projects can be submitted
• Multiple projects from one department can be submitted
• Most states have a large number of projects at the District and Municipal levels
• Most states tend to retain or improve their annual ranks
• Police and Power & Energy tend to submit a larger number of projects
