Highlights

  • Punjab ranks #21 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2022.
  • Total of 13 well-performing projects qualified for SKOCH Order-of-Merit, out of which 3 were impactful projects.
  • State performed very well in 8 categories.
    1. Topped in the Infrastructure and Tourism & Culture category nationally
    2. Participated first time in Agriculture, and Forest categories and ranked in the top 10 nationally.
    3. Recovered in the General Administration and e-Governance categories.
  • Tourism & Culture and Infrastructure submitted a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects were qualified as impactful projects.

Key achievements

  1. Punjab bagged 13 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2022.
  2. The state won 3 awards – all three in the SILVER category.
