Goa ranks #19 in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2022

Highlights

• Goa improves in the SKOCH State of Governance 2022.
• Total of 13 well-performing projects qualified for SKOCH Order-of-Merit, out of which 2 were impactful projects.
• State performed very well in 9 categories.
  1. Topped in the sanitation category nationally
  2. Participated first time in General Administration, Environment, Forest, Revenue, Health, Education, and Power & Energy categories and ranked in the top 10 nationally.
  3. Recovered in the e-Governance category.
• Health, Environment, and e-Governance submitted a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects were qualified as impactful projects.

1. Goa bagged 13 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2022.
2. The state won 2 awards – one in the GOLD category and one in the SILVER category.
