Highlights

  • Chhattisgarh ranks #14 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2022.
  • Total of 25 well-performing projects qualified for SKOCH Order-of-Merit, out of which 6 were impactful projects.
  • State performed very well in 16 categories.
    1. Topped in Environment category nationally.
    2. Consistent in performance in the Labour category
    3. Participating first time in Disaster Management, Housing, Minority Affairs, Tourism & Culture, Education, Finance, Transport, Forest and Power & Energy entered in the top 10 nationally.
    4. Recovered in Skill development, General Administration and Women & Child Development categories.
  • District Governance and Forest submitted a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects were qualified as impactful projects.

Key achievements

  1. Chhattisgarh bagged 25 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2022.
  2. The state won 6 awards – one in GOLD category and five in SILVER category.
