Thank you for sharing the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2024. I found the report both insightful and timely, offering a valuable perspective on governance performance across the states.

Your team’s effort in bringing together grassroots-level data and sectoral analysis makes it a very useful reference. I particularly noted the emphasis on state-level innovations and best practices, which provide important learnings for strengthening governance.

Thank you for sharing the “States of Viksit Bharat 2024” report. I appreciate the effort that SKOCH Group has put into producing such a comprehensive and timely assessment.

The report offers a well structured, state-wise analysis that thoughtfully goes beyond economic metrics to consider governance outcomes, institutional performance, and the quality of service delivery. Its emphasis on grassroots participation, digital inclusion and decentralised development aligns closely with the principles of accountable and citizen-centric governance.

NHRC is committed to protection and promotion of human rights of every individual which can be achieved only through good governance. I particularly value the outcome-based and inclusive lens through which the report evaluates progress. It serves as a useful reference for identifying both best practices and areas that require attention. I commend SKOCH Group for this meaningful contribution and look forward to its continued support to evidence-based policymaking.

States of Viksit Bharat is unique as it has created India specific indices to measure India’s progress. This is a greenfield effort and should go a long way in correcting the Indian narrative. State of Governance Efficiency and State of Financial Prudence actually put things in perspective that each state needs to acknowledge and act accordingly. Truly speaking, it spurs a competitive spirit amongst the federal constituents.
