Shri G. Srinivasan, Director joined the National Insurance Academy, Pune with effect from 11th December 2018. Shri G. Srinivasan has more than 38 years of experience in General Insurance Industry both in India and abroad. A well-known name in the Indian financial sector, he is the longest serving CMD of Public Sector Insurance Companies. His last appointment was that of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the largest Indian Insurer, The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. Prior to joining The New India Assurance Company Ltd. in 2012, he was the Chairman-Cum-Managing Director of The United India Insurance Company Limited. Earlier he had served as MD of The New India Assurance Co. (Trinidad & Tobago) Ltd., Port of Spain.
