• Chhattisgarh ranks #15 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2023.
• A Total of 24 well-performing projects qualified for Deeper Study, out of which 4 were impactful projects.
• State performed very well in 9 categories.
  1. Has shown maximum improvement in the Power & Energy and District Governance categories nationally.
  2. Consistent in performance in the Education category.
  3. Participating for the first time in the Revenue and Police & Safety categories and entered in the top 10 nationally.
  4. Recovers in Urban Development, Municipal Governance and Health categories.
• Municipal Governance and Urban Development submit a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects are qualified as impactful projects.
• Key achievements
  1. Chhattisgarh bags 24 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2023.
  2. Almost half of these are in the Urban Development and Municipal Governance categories.
  3. Three SKOCH Orders-of-Merit were in the District Governance category nationally.
  4. The state won 4 awards – two in GOLD and two in the SILVER category.
