• Odisha ranks #5 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2022
• Total of 36 well-performing projects qualified for SKOCH Order-of-Merit, out of which 5 were highly impactful and 11 were impactful projects.
• State performed very well in 14 categories.

  2. Has shown maximum improvement in District Governance, e-Governance and Tourism & Culture.
  3. Consistent in performance in Education and Geology & Mining categories.
  4. Participating first time in the Revenue category and entered in the top 10 nationally.

• District Governance and Water have submitted a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects were qualified as highly impactful and impactful projects.
• Key achievements
  1. Odisha bagged 36 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2022.
  2. Almost half of these are in Water and District Governance.
  3. Three SKOCH Orders-of-Merit were in the Health category.
  4. The state won two SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in education, e-Governance and Municipal Governance each.
  5. The state won 16 awards – one in PLATINUM, four in GOLD and eleven in SILVER category.
