Highlights

  • J&K (UT) ranks #12 nationally in the SKOCH State of Governance Report 2022.
  • Total of 21 well-performing projects qualified for SKOCH Order-of-Merit, out of which 5 were impactful projects.
  • State performed very well in 13 categories.
    1. Topped in Cooperation & Sports & Youth category nationally.
    2. Has shown maximum improvement in Power & Energy and Municipal Governance categories.
    3. Participating first time in Rural Development, Revenue, Forest, Education & General Administration and entered in the top 10 nationally.
  • Health, Education and Revenue submitted a larger number of projects for evaluation. Out of these, several well-performing projects were qualified as impactful projects.

Key achievements

  1. J&K (UT) bagged 21 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2022.
  2. Two SKOCH Orders-of-Merit were in Rural Development, Revenue, Power & Energy and Education each.
  3. The state won 5 awards – two in GOLD and three in SILVER category.
