Key achievements
West Bengal bags 30 SKOCH Orders-of-Merit in the SKOCH State of Governance Awards 2023.
Almost half of these are in the Police & Safety and District Governance categories.
Three SKOCH Orders-of-Merit were in the Ease of Doing Business, Power & Energy and Transport categories nationally.
The state won 16 awards – five in GOLD and eleven in the SILVER category.
